Esta canción es un clásico de los clásicos. Es un reggae del cantante jamaiquino Jimmy Cliff (Hakuna Matata te suena???). Originalmente fue grabada para ser el soundrack de la película que lleva el mismo nombre y donde actúa Cliff. Esta es reconocida por ser la que llevo el Reggae a los Unated States. The Clash la nombra en "Guns Of Brixton"

Resumir el tema en una palabra: LIBERTAD. Habla de mantenerse de pie ante la opresion, aunque la diferencia entre esta y vos sea demasiado grande. Cuanto mas grande sean, mas duro caeran (llamese iglesia, estado, policia... vos tambien vivis en Salta??)

Una banda y un artista legendarios haciendo un cover de un tema legendario. Que mas queres??. Estas dos versiones siguen con la linea reggae de la orignial, pero tienen la firma del artista. Madness tiene un clima mas fiestero, imposible no mover las cachas con esta banda!!.
Joe Strummer... es Joe Strummer, un genio, haciendo una version lenta y pausada de este reggae, como queriendo que el mensaje quede claro! sumado a arreglos interesantes en la cancion.

La version que mas me gusta!, Cuando el punk rock se mezcla con el reggae: SKA! SKA! SKA!. Lars lo canta con unas ganas que pinta ponerse a bailar donde la estes escuchando. La cancion fue grabada en vivo en un concierto realizado para protestar por la liberacion tibetana.
